Weber/Morgan Children's Justice Center (CJC)

The center provides a safe, child friendly location where victims of child abuse and non-offending family members receive coordinated services during a child abuse investigation. Referrals to the center are made by law enforcement, child protective services, medical and mental health providers. Working with a multi-disciplinary team from law enforcement, child protective services, Primary Children's Safe & Healthy Families and others involved in the investigation children who have allegedly been abused come to the center for a forensic interview and medical examination conducted by professionals specifically trained to work with children.

  • Eligibility Criteria
  • Children and families must be referred to the CJC by law enforcement, child protective services or a medical or mental health provider. Others not referred to the center may receive information and referral, but investigations must be handled through law enforcement and/or DCFS.
